Telecom Italia's chief regulatory officer Alessandro Talotta said Friday that the company, Italy's largest telecoms operator, will present its request to the regulator next week.

Italy's former telecom monopoly has complained that its unbundling tariffs are the lowest in Europe and that they have to be increased. Other operators pay about €7.6 a month to connect to Telecom Italia's network. According to Telecom Italia's request, it should be increased by about €1 a month.
