Video: New Business Models - Show me the money !!!

22 10 2009 - The Telco 2.0 Initiative will hold its 7th Executive Brainstorm at the Guoman Tower Hotel in London on November 4 and 5. The event is based on the output of the 6th Executive Brainstorm held in May and new ' Use Case' analysis.

image Telco 2.0 Executive Brainstorms aren't simply talking shops where theories about the future shape and direction of ICT are aired, but interactive workshops for 200 senior execs where the ramifications and effects of the much-discussed and revolutionary " two-sided business model" are brought to life based on real-life examples of how the model actually works and the different ways and directions in which money can be made to flow.

Thus by providing examples of how telecoms can be used as a platform for other industries to bolster their own bottom lines, the upcoming Telco 2.0 Initiative Brainstorm will analyse current business cases in areas as diverse as Mobile Marketing, Smart Grids, the Mobile Wallet, Voice and Messaging 2.0 ( sometimes also called "comms enabled business processes”) and Mobile Broadband - especially in light of the use of backhaul resulting from increasing popularity of broadband data services and applications and the consequent overloading of mobile networks.

These are real world problems of immediate relevance to many industry sectors and companies, and solutions to them will be provided and proven to those attending the event next month.

If you want to know where the money is, where it is going, and how to get your share – apply to participate in the Telco 2.0 initiative's 7th Executive Brainstorm. You'll only have yourself to blame if you miss the opportunity to divert the money in your own direction!
